What To Expect

We start the day in the galley with a welcome coffee and safety briefing. We'll discuss your goals for the day. We then get underway heading out into English Bay, aiming to get the sails up as soon as possible. You'll learn how to tie some essential sailing knots; how to raise the sails and proper trim; how to use the tiller to steer, as well as sailing "rules of the road". Be sure to pack a lunch to enjoy as we either anchor or hove-to. Please dress appropriately, it is always colder on the water than it is on land, even in summer! Sunscreen, hats, sunglasses and close-toed shoes are highly recommended. Tea and coffee are available on board.
